MERIBEL AND COURCHEVEL RESORT INFORMATION
The Three Valleys, incorporating Meribel and Courchevel - the largest skiable area in the world and has over 600 kilometres of marked pistes and over 200 lifts and skiing up to 3,300 metres. The snow making capacity and grooming of the pistes is second to none, combining vast experience and the latest technology. Overall the vast domaine of the Three Valleys - Meribel, Courchevel and Val Thorens is an excellent ski area and offers a wide variety of terrain to suit all levels.
Meribel - the heart of the Three Valleys has maintained its alpine charm with its wooden and stone clad chalets covering the modern luxury contained within. A variety of accommodation in chalets, hotel & apartments to suit everyone's style.
Courchevel - the largest valley of the Three Valleys has something for everyone - with its four differing resorts - with the designer boutiques & luxury hotels in 1850 to the old world charm of the rustic alleyways in the village at 1300 Le Praz, with the Olympic ski jump.
The 3 Valleys are conveniently located for air travellers, served by the international airports of Geneva (approx 178 km/111 miles) in Switzerland, and Lyon in France (approx 181 km/112 miles). Chambery and Grenoble are also to be considered, however adverse weather conditions are more likely to disrupt services at these airports.
